Rollei presents its first webcam, the R-Cam 100. With this product launch, Rollei is responding to the ongoing trend of more and more people working from home. The camera is easy to mount and features a tripod mount with excellent transmission performance. Ideal for home offices, streamers, teaching staff, and digital nomads.

Hamburg/Norderstedt, 02.11.2020 – Rollei is launching its first webcam, the R-Cam 100. With this, the traditional manufacturer of photo accessories now also supports working from home, teaching staff, aspiring streamers, and digital nomads.

The camera is compatible with common video conferencing tools, such as Microsoft Teams, Skype, or Zoom. Thanks to the built-in microphone, no additional accessories are needed: just plug in the camera and get started. When no video meetings are taking place, the R-Cam 100 has a lens cover to reliably protect privacy.

The new R-Cam 100 webcam is incredibly easy to use. The camera is connected to the end device via USB, and the rubberized clip holder allows the camera to be gently attached to the monitor. Additionally, the R-Cam 100 has a ¼-inch connection for mounting on a tripod, providing maximum flexibility for webcam positioning. The lens with an 85° field of view offers excellent Full HD transmission in 1080p and 30 FPS. A practical LED indicator lets the user see if the camera is currently active.
