Neutral density filter for 100mm rectangular filter system
In our F:X Pro filter series, we have refined, among other things, our ND (Neutral Density) filters. The purpose of ND filters is to reduce the light entering your camera sensor. The filters, which are available in sizes of 100 x 100 millimeters (100mm filter holder system), have been treated with our F:X Pro Coating, so that their reflection-free property is 99.5 percent. This guarantees you razor-sharp images - even with "High End" cameras with 150 MP. The color accuracy is exemplary, which means you can capture your surroundings exactly as you saw them.

ND filters are needed for:
- Displaying motion through longer exposure times
- Removing moving objects from the image
- Highlighting the subject by blurring the background
- Increasing the aperture - reducing depth of field
Our ND filters are available in various intensities and stops. A stop means that the amount of light entering the sensor is reduced by one f-stop. Depending on which filter with how many stops you use, you must accordingly extend your shutter speed by the same number of stops. This allows you to take magically drawn images with longer exposure times even in sunshine. For example, you can blur moving elements of your image composition, which, when photographing a river, ensures that the water looks silky - but larger stones in the river are sharply defined because they do not move. Do you want to photograph a tourist attraction like the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, but preferably without people in the picture? This is also no problem with an ND filter. Due to the long exposure, only the immovable architecture remains in the picture. However, plan enough time for your long exposure, because depending on the setting, this can take several minutes to an hour.

Our ND filters are available in these strengths:
- ND8 (3 stops / 0.9)
- ND32 (5 stops / 1.5)
- ND64 (6 stops / 1.8)
- ND1000 (10 stops / 3)
- ND2000 (11 stops / 3.3)
- ND4000 (12 stops / 3.6)
- ND32000 (15 stops / 4.5)
Depending on how much light should hit the sensor, you can of course also combine our filters. And so that no light reflection appears on your work that doesn't belong there, our rectangular filters also have a foam seal that prevents light from entering between the filter and the lens.

Exemplary color accuracy with extremely fine coating
Our ND rectangular filters are equipped with our specially developed F:X Pro Coating, which ensures that your images are always razor-sharp, even with extremely high-resolution cameras with 150 megapixels. The reflection-free property of our F:X Pro filters is also 99.5 percent. With these filters, you get exemplary color accuracy – and reproduce your subject true to life.
In order to offer you products that you will enjoy for a long time, our filters are made of premium filter glass. Thanks to a special manufacturing process, it is legendary for its durability and simultaneously guarantees extremely high light transmission and color neutrality. Our anti-scratch layer gives the filter glass its final hardness against mechanical impacts and ensures that dirt from grease, water or mud can also be removed quickly and effortlessly.
But our filters are not only scratch-resistant – but also temperature-resistant. We have tested this under the highest quality standards in scorching heat and biting cold. In short: they are the best filters we have ever built.
