Rollei Compact Traveler No. 1: lightweight and portable travel tripod

The small packed size of the Rollei Compact Traveler No. 1 is achieved by the tripod legs folding back 180°, while the aluminum construction makes this travel tripod very lightweight. The 1.2 kg weight refers to the tripod plus quick-release plate. Photographers can quickly set up and dismantle the tripod using the quick-release clamps, and a non-slip foam grip facilitates handling, ensuring a secure grip on the tripod legs even in cold conditions. The 360° rotating center column hook allows for attaching heavier weights, with a maximum load capacity of 5 kg. Functions of the Rollei Compact Traveler No. 1

The maximum working height is 134 cm, and the travel tripod can be set to a minimum of 32 cm on three legs; by "inverting" the legs into a macro tripod position, an effective height of 0 cm is achieved. Alternatively, photographers can invert the center column. The stability of the metal legs and their convenient locking via rotary clamps, which allows for lightning-fast setup, are noteworthy. Users achieve the greatest stability if they do not extend the lowest part of the legs, which is very thin (1 cm diameter), though this costs 22 cm in height. The center column itself is held by a screw cap, with three wide wings making screwing it on very easy. Overall, the Rollei Compact Traveler No. 1 travel tripod is entirely convincing in terms of its
functions.
